so my best friend's step brother and i, really like each other and want to go out but my best friend says it screwed up. what schould i do?

In cases like this, it's hard to say what the right thing is. But I would recommend that you don't date your best friend's stepbrother because if you were to break up, it would be very hard for you to be with your best friend. And when it comes down to it, you're much better off with a best friend than some guy. Guys are replaceable. Best friends last for a lifetime.
