My girlfriend's ex is visiting from abroad, and is going to stay at her house

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
My girlfriend's ex is visiting from abroad, and is going to stay at her house (we live separately). I'm uneasy about this as i don't know him at all, really, and what his intentions are.
I need to be reasonable with my girlfriend as she is still quite friendly with her ex. but i feel she's being unreasonable with me. we've spoken briefly about the issue and i've explained i'll feel awkward, but not made a lot of progress.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It doesn't matter what the ex-boyfriend's intentions are. What matters is how much you can trust your girlfriend. If she is sincerely attached to you, she will not do anything with him, no matter what he says. I understand why you would feel uncomfortable with the situation, but you do have to trust her and have faith that nothing is going to happen. If you don't trust her, then you shouldn't be in a relationship with her.

It may help for you to meet him. Once you both know each other as people, it will be harder to assume the worst about each other.

I wish you luck!
