He Broke Up - He's Not Feeling Me Anymore

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My boyfriend for the past 10 months just broke up with me and his reasons were that he wasn't "feeling me anymore", but with that he said that he stills cares about me, likes me, and is still in love with me, and he is not looking for anyone else cause he still cares for me. I thought I understood and that I could handle it but I can't. I am still deeply in love with him and I want to get him back. What should I do? I know that he is the man I want in my life.

That has got to be the most vague and unhelpful excuse I've ever heard! Well one of them in any case :) He's in love with you but he's not "feeling you"? What in the world does that mean? He really has to be a little better at telling you what is wrong, if he is going to sever a relationship of 10 months. SOMETHING wasn't right for him to give up after all that time. Hopefully he knows that as relationships mature, you don't keep up the same levels of hot passion as when they began! That is how nature works, your hormones cool down and that high-octane level settles into a more mature, steady love. If he thought that was a BAD thing - it's time for him to ask himself just what he is looking for in a relationship.
