I Cheated - I Want Him Back

I was going out with this guy right before prom but i had another date. The guy i was going to prom with wasnt to happy about me seeing someone else so i ended it between me and my boyfriend but now im seriously regreting it. I was hoping things would work out but now he is with someone else even though he told me he still had feelings for me....What should I do??

The thing about a relationship is that it is all based on trust. If you violate that trust, it can be impossible to get it back again. This guy was looking forward to one of the most memorable nights of his life - his prom night - with the girl he cared for. The next thing he knows, that girl is off with another guy! You would have to agree that this would make most people upset.
If he has another girl, it's really not a great idea to try to go break them up. That will just reinforce his idea that you can't be trusted. If you want to, work on staying friends with him and showing him that you've learned from that mistake. That way if he DOES break up with her, you'll be ready. But don't pine away for years waiting for that to happen. Get on with your own life, too.
