Do I take him back?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I just broke up with my boyfriend of a year and a half because i found out that he had cheated on me 6 times. I know he has lied about it in the past but he is saying that he is really changing and that he is not doing that anymore. I really miss him and I still love him so much but i know that i can't be with a cheater. Should I believe him when he says he won't cheat on me anymore?

RomanceClass.com Advice
What I've found is that people don't change. If he's cheated on you before, then most likely he's going to do it again. You need to find yourself someone who will give you the love and respect you deserve, and someone who cheats is demeaning you, himself, and the relationship. You're better than that.

Yes, you love him, but you can love other people too and it would be better to move on and find someone who cares enough for you to remain faithful to you.

I hope things turn out well.

Take care!
