She Spends her Time with Me - Does She Like Me?

A couple of months ago I meet this girl through a friend of mine. At first she was a bit distant, I think mostly because Im quite shy. My affection for her has really grown and I think it might be something mutual. She often calls me after class asking if I wanna spend the lunch with her. Ive caught her peeking at at my many times during class. Shes not very touchy feely but do tocuh me far more often than others. She often seems to just be around me.
But often when its just the of us, theres this awkard silence. Im not very good at keeping a conversation going, she usualy is though, but not when its just the two of us.
Are there any things I could try to see if she actaully is interested in me? Ive also been thinking about asking her out but Im not sure how to.

Wait, this guy actively wants to have lunch with you, she talks to you, looks at you and spends time with you and you're wondering if she LIKES you?? Do you think she does all of these things with people she does NOT like? :)
Of course she likes you. She's done everything but give you kisses every time you walk up to her. So it's up to you to start finally reciprocating! You say she touches you. So start giving her a quick hug hello when you see her. Lots of friends do that, and that'd be a good way to increase your contact level.
Instead of diving into asking her out, take it in stages. Talk about the movies that are coming out until she shows a lot of interest in one. Then offer to go with her. She might be nervous but will probably say yes because you're friends and this would be a 'friends having fun together' thing. Once you go to a movie or two it should be easy to ask her out, because in essence you already ARE going out!
