A Friend is Getting Friendlier

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
A male friend who I have known for a long time met me with a warm soft kiss on my hand when I extended my hand for a handshake. It has been almost a year since I have seen him. We e-mail often, mostly light and fun chatter yet family stuff etc.

My marriage of 6 years or so has been going sour. He seemed to pick up on the fact that iwas not talking about my husband. Do you htink my firend wants more. He is a perfect gentlemean. We went dutch for lunch and probably will do it again.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's always fine to have male friends. But it's not fine to lead on a guy - or to use it as a crutch for an existing relationship problem. You shouldn't use this guy as a safety blanket while you deal with your husband.

It's important to get the marriage resolved, however you are going to deal with it. Focus on that 100%. Go into therapy, talk to a minister, try your best to fix the problems. If you really can't fix them, then give your partner the respect of getting a divorce before you start up with another guy.
