I've recently got a girl friend. Before i asked her out she used to flrit with me alot and now there seems to be no real connection.
She even likes another guy well not really likes him but she still has feelings for him and it kind of hurts me because in a relationship shouldnt there be full commitment and full fullings for one another.
I asked her why she choose me over him she said it was because she saw me more and that i have more direction in life. When she said that it was kind of puzzling because i thought she choose me becasue i was better then that other guy and that she liked me. so i really dont no what to think at the moment. could you please help?

You can't really believe life is all or nothing! If you like chocolate chip ice cream, does that mean you'll never eat any other dessert, ever, in your entire life? The reason love is special is because there ARE other choices and you made the one you felt was best for you. If there was only one human being that could match with you, that wouldn't be love. That would be "no other choice". I hardly think any of us wants to be in a dating situation because "it was the only option I had".
Surely you had other girls you could have dated - but you chose this one because you liked her best, right? Hopefully that didn't mean you hated every other girl you knew :) -- from Lisa
