Recently my boyfriend and I have decided to take a break

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Recently my boyfriend and I have decided to take a break, it was actually more his idea than mine. We dated for a year and a half and during that time we were often hanging with friends and we all became very close. After the "break" began I started talking to a friend of both him and I but, it was his best friend. I was just basically needed some support and wanted to know if he just needed a break or to just split up all together!! Well... when I was talking to him he asked me if I would ever have sex with him or "hook up" with him. Obviously I told him no because thats completely wrong and I'm still head over heels in love with his best friend. I just wanted to know if I should do or say anything about this to him or just let it go. I feel if it were the other way around and my bestfriend did this to me I would definately want to know because thats not any kind of "bestfriend"! Also if and when we do get back together it would be very ackward being around him and knowing he asked me to do that!!! Ohh yeah... he also has a girlfriend!!!!!! Thats a big part too!
I need some help!!!!!

Let it go. Guys are guys, especially in your age group.

No need to piss of both of them and ruin your chances of getting him back.

If, while you are back together again, he hits on you, then you have every right to tell your BF, but not while you're on "break."

Best wishes,
Marc
