it's lost my confidence

i am 14 and i am going out with a 19 year old and i really like him, but when i go and meet him he dosent talk to me and just drives his car with his mates and his mates have to do the talking to me or for him but it's lost my confidence in meeting him and i have gone really shy of even phoning him.

please help cos it's really starting to hurt

Without having all of the details, I would imagine his friends don't know you're dating, or if they do, maybe he feels awkward about the age difference.

I wish I had more to go on, but that's about it.

Besides, that is a rather big age difference. You may want to think about that, as well.
