I'm sorry if I'm a little confused. Are you saying you just want to be friends but you do want to kiss him?

That can make sense because kissing is enjoyable and since you are friends there is a certain amount of trust.

Things will get complicated, though, if you so kiss him because he wants to go out with you and you will be sending him the wrong signals.

I recommend you tell him you don't feel romantic towards him and want to stay friends and not kiss him.
