i wasn't at all jealous at first when he told me he wanted to meet his ex to hand her something.

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
i have been with my boyfriend for almost 5 months. im 19 and he's 21. i've always trusted him. i know he is sincere and loves me as much as i love him. i know about his past; that he has been in a relationship 3 times before. i wasnt at all jealous at first when he told me he wanted to meet his ex to hand her something. i was very willing to let him meet her. but then later, he told me that they went for dinner after that. i was a bit jealous but it did not affect me much. however, about a week later, he told me again that he will be meeting his friend(a girl) as she had a problem and need a listening ear. again, i didnt mind it at all. but later, he told me that they went for lunch and even watch movies together. i was so affected by whwt i hear. i felt he is taking advantage of my trust in him. but was i right to feel jealous?

You are correct to feel some concern. You should talk to him now, before this gets out of hand, and tell him how you feel.

The good thing is that he comes to you first and asks your permission. To me this says these things are innocent. You gotta give the guy credit for that. If he did this stuff behind your back, then you'd really have something to worry about.

Best wishes,
Marc
