I'm Jealous about His Girlfriend

I have had this best friend who is wonderful. For example when I am single and he is too on valentines day he buys me roses so i don't feel left out.And i have off and on liked him.
But he has a girlfriend who is a control freak. I have trouble not being jealous over. It wouldn't be bad except it has started to effect our relationship. The girlfriend and I never got along even before they started dating. I only thought it could last a month but it has gone longer.
How do I not be jealous over her for our friendship sake? In some regards I feel as if she is stealing my best Friend.

It's pretty clear that you want to be the girlfriend here. You were hoping he was going to break up with the girl he loved! You're upset that he's spending more time with his girlfriend than with you. And you're calling yourself his friend?
A friend would be supportive and not intrusive. Instead you're jealous over the woman he loves.
