His Flirting Makes me Jealous

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My boyfriend is always telling me that he loves me and he is always talking about him and i being together forever. but when we are around my friends or out with people he always seems to talk and touch others in a flirty way.

What does this mean because it is making me really jealous? Should i be jealous?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Some people are just naturally flirtatious. They enjoy hanging out with and flirting with people. Think of a movie star that is flirtatious ... let's take Goldie Hawn. She's very friendly and vivacious and flirtatious and at a party she'd be going around talking to people and laughing. But she loves her guy, and has been with him for many, many years. Her guy trusts her and knows that as much fun as they have at the party, they'll go home together and she'll always love him.

So the question you need to ask is if you trust your boyfriend or not. Do you really think that he'll run off with someone that he's flirting with? If not, then really there's no harm in his flirting at all. You should flirt too! Flirting is great fun. In Italy, everybody flirts with everybody, from age 8 to 88. It's a national pasttime.

If the other girls smile at him, be proud. They are enjoying him - but he has chosen to be with you. You're the one he wants to be with! And then go back to your own flirtations.

I do have lots of tips and a full how-to on dealing with jealousy on the site, so you might want to read through that for some helpful tips.
