We Broke Up - He Found Another - Does He Still Like Me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
This all began last year when I was bound and determined that I was not going to my Junior Prom. Because all of my friends stayed on me so tight, I finally decided to go. I wanted to ask one of the guys I showed lambs with but because of location my mom suggested a guy from school. He seemed like a really sweet person so I asked him. His reply was "yes" but I had no idea that he liked me. When a friend told me the news the next week I was astonished. I didn't like him in that way, but I figured it would be nice to have someone to go off with on the weekends. So when he asked if I would consider dating him I said "yes."

To make a long story short it just seemed like I was never interested in him. I ignored him most of the time and one day he asked if I would just like to be friends. I said "yes" and shortly after that he decided he did the wrong thing. He stalked me for about two months and finally he moved on and got another girlfriend.

Now that six months have passed I have decided that I really do like him! My friends have told me the comments he makes concerning me now, although he has another girlfriend. He said I was the best girlfriend he ever had; he wanted to know did I ever talk about him, and they even say his new girlfriend looks a lot like me.

We went six months with speaking to one another but now he speak to one another and he even stops by my house occasionally. Do you think he got this other girl to make me jealous? Do you think he likes me? Do you think we will ever get back together?

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's ok to be friends without dating! Lots of guys have girl friends and visa versa. He already has a girlfriend. If you actively try to steal him away it'll damage things between you guys in a way that won't easily be fixed. I would be friends with him, show him you like him, and just be there. He would need to decide ON HIS OWN that his current girlfriend just isn't right for him.
