I would talk again with the friend first and make him say exactly what he knows. Did he SEE your girlfriend go there? Or did he "hear" this from someone else? If so from who. If he's going to destroy your relationship he better have solid proof for it. Then go and talk to the ex boyfriend. Explain your concern and ask him.

If you do all of those things and all you end up with is a vague accusation from this friend of yours, then it's time to owe your girlfriend an apology. A relationship is about trust and honesty. You don't randomly accuse your partner of lying to you without any real proof. Your partner should get the benefit of the doubt because they are the one who relies on you - and you rely on them.

Also, as an aside, it shouldn't be bad if she WAS at his house, as long as she told you about it. Most of us have contact with our exs and many of us stay good friends with our exs. Make sure she understands that it wasn't the ex visit that bothered you - it was the accusation that she was hiding it from you. Talk about how it's critical for you two always be open and honest with each other, if you want your relationship to work.
