I'm Long Distance - Things are Rough

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I didnt ever think I would email something like this to ask for advice about a relationship, but I am in the United States Airforce, and I am very far away from home right now, i have a girlfriend I have been dating for a year, we are very serious, and have talked about getting engaged

we are having alot of problems right now though, I dont know how to make it any better, I try as hard as i can to be there for her, but no matter what i say, it seems to make it worst

It's a lot of stress and i know there are others out there in the same situation, please send me some advice on what i should do, i cant live without this girl, and it doesnt seem like its goin to last much longer the way it is going, thanks.

RomanceClass.com Advice
There are whole teams of support personnel for military relationships. They are SUPER tough because of the long distance and other stresses involved. This is something that affects just about every single military couple out there, which means millions of people.

Call your local military contacts for support groups and numbers. See if you can get her into a support group of military partners on her side. The more you both realize this is a common problem - and one that can be solved - the easier things will be on you both.
