He's Cooled Off - I'm Jealous of his Ex

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 and ½ years. In the beginning it was great he could not keep his hands off me. And then about a year into it he started to distant himself sexually. I mean he is always with me and calls me and stuff, but we got in a lot more fights, and that's when my jealously came in.

He has this X girlfriend who is really a problem with me, and I don't know why I never had a problem with trusting him before. Should I trust my instincts? Help Please!

RomanceClass.com Advice
First, sexual contact tends to fade with time. It's a running joke in many marriages. You get used to each other, you don't get the hormone rush any more, you get into a comfy snuggly mode. That's not bad, it's just a thing that happens.

However you should NOT be fighting more - that's a really bad sign!! You should be talking and discussing problems. If you are fighting you need to address that immediately. If you keep fighting, that will create a wedge that drives you apart.
