I Broke His Heart - I Want Him Back

I broke the heart of the one I love, before he went to the navy we broke up and I said I didn't love him anymore. I thought we were over, well it felt that way to me. But when he left I realized that I didn't want to go on without him. We have a 15 month old child together and I wanted to try to be a family for the sake of her and cause I am really in love with him still. But he doesn't believe me and I understand where he is coming from, I just want to prove to him that I want to spend the rest of my life with him but how? What can I say or do to prove that I love him and want to be with him forever?

You can never prove trust with a word or a gift. Trust is something that is built up over time, through repeated actions. So work on it every day, showing him you can be a friend, be there for him, care about him. Send him photos of his child, send him letters, build that relationship back up again.
