i was w my bf for 4 years then i broke up w him cuz the long distace (2hrs) was too much. i went out w another guy. he couldnt handle it for months. it has now been 10 months and i want him back...we still talk and tell eachother i love you...we both always will becuz we are eachothers first everythings. he now has a gf but says he doesnt know if he can give me a second chance cuz hes in med school and its so hard to deal w that he never has time for anything and always says he doesnt know what he wants. if we still talk all the time and say i love you, and see eachother when he comes home, and buy eachother gifts, do u think he will come back to me and forgive me after every memory that we have? im transferring colleges and i will be so much closer.thanks

If he has a girlfriend, then you need to accept the fact that they could get closer and go off together. The point of a relationship is that you are working on it towards a common goal. I wouldn't wait around forever, hoping that eventually he will ditch her and do anything else. Yes, you can remain friends with him - most exs do. But you should be available to dating other people.
