Dating my Best Friend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
ok here is the deal. Backround info.- I have had this crush on my best friend for the past year now. And we are very close, so close it's really scarey, we could practically finish eachothers sentances. And he told one of my friends, recently, that there was a point in which he liked me as well, and he thinks that one day down the road, me and him will end up hooking up.what's going down- we just started to hang out with one of his longtime friends.

Turns out he likes me, but I don't really like him like that I just like him as a friend. But I have never had a boyfriend before, and i don't want my feelings for my best friend get in the way of my first kiss. But lately, and occasionally in the past, i have gotten mixed signals from my best friend, and i would feel akward going out with one of his long time pals, what if things don't work out, will my best friend still talk to me. Or what if things do, and i am missing a wonderful relationship with my best bud. I'm so confused. Please help!!!!!

Why are you not going forward with your best friend? That seems like the best relationship to work on. Start going to movies with him, to dinner - things that friends do. Hug each other hello and goodbye. I have a ton of tips on the site about how to go from friend to boyfriend-girlfriend. Work on them daily and give it your very best shot!
