I Still Miss my Ex

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I can't seem to get my ex out of my head. It has been roughly 7 months since we have spoken. We ended really badly and I think that the one thing I want is to have closure on a good note. It is always hard to leave someone or be left and know that words that were spoken were harsh. Those harsh words were the last thing said to each other. Well, my situation is hard because my ex moved at least 1,000 miles away and I have no address or anything. The cell phone number has been changed. What is wrong with me? I have days were I don't think about them, then there are days where that is all that I do. I still love my ex and I always will. We connected at so many different levels. I miss my ex. Just to hear my ex's voice would be the best gift ever. Just to say "I am sorry" is all that I want.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Breaking up can be really hard, especially like you said when you don't have closure. If he deliberately tried to get away from you then he might be hostile if you tracked him down, figuring you were stalking him.

What I would do is write a long, drawn out letter by hand, explaining everything. Writing it by hand will really help. Seal it into an envelope. Then mail that to a mutual friend of yours. Surely there must be someone that you both knew, that knows where he is now. Ask them to get it to him eventually. That way he can read it whenever he gets it, and you'll know that you did your part to try to get closure.
