We Fight over Silly Things

My boyfriend and I get into alot of arguments over the stupidest things, they dont mean anything at all, just the fact of arguing with him upsets me. At first I tried not to let it get to me, but it just keeps on getting worse. I tell him that it bothers me and upsets me, and he always apologizes, I dont know what else to tell him. I just want all this to stop.

It is really really really unhealthy and wrong for you guys to fight so much. Maybe people fight on TV, but in real life the healthy relationships are the ones between best friends who can talk about anything.

The next time he begins to argue, say calmly to him that you need to take a break and can't talk right now - that you'll talk with him later. Then, later, discuss the issue with him. People don't argue for "no reason". They argue because something is wrong. So you guys have to DISCUSS this thing that is wrong and fix it - otherwise the arguments will never end.
