I Want Him Back - I'm Afraid to Talk to Him

I have been out with this guy on and off for more than a year. Since our last break up, its been about 4 months, and it was the break up where it was truly over. I am in love with this guy, but i am afraid to say anything to him because he is the type of person to reject someone. When we went out, we were such a great couple,and i miss being with him so much. Sometimes I get small signs that he might like me again, but i a not sure and i dont want to get my hopes up and become disappointed. Is there a way to get this guy back? or to get over him, at least? thanks..

I hate to say this, but if you were a great couple you wouldn't have been breaking up all the time. Obviously something was pretty seriously wrong that kept driving you two apart. I would really give yourself some time, go through the breakup period, let yourself get interested in friends and hobbies and work. Let yourself meet new people. Undoubtedly there is a guy out there that you will get along great with and not be in a constant breakup routine with.
