I Love Her - I Can't Talk to Her

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Hi I am in 6th grade and there is this girl who I think is really really pretty. I really want to find out if she likes me. and I also want her to notice me. Every tuesday and thursday I go to band and at 2 o' clock the violiners comes in and she is in that group. Every time I see her I just get really nervous. Once I tried to give her a letter while she was playing with her friends. In this letter I told her that i am in love with her. Suddenly, when I gave her my letter all her friends tried to read it at once and they ripped it up.

Finally one day when I was in science class and she was in social studies (my class and she was sitting on my seat) When I got back I saw a note on my desk and it said exactly this. Hey you got to hide your love away. I dont really know what it means. I want to know does it means that she likes me, love me, or does she hate me. The whole point is that I really love her but I dont think she notice me and if she does what happens "if" she thinks I am wierd or I am a nerd. Please help me I want her to notice me but I am way to nervous when I go near her.

Love is about truly knowing someone. You are obsessed with her :) That's a good start but it's important to know the difference. It's time for you to start actually talking with her and interacting with her. It's called breaking the ice. Read all the tips on the site about breaking the ice, and start practicing. It involves flirting and talking with her - not sending her notes!
