i am 13. i am shy. i am never noticed by the girls. i never say anything mean. I am not a jerk. i get good grades. my problem is, i am new, and there is this other boy, and he has girls all over him. i dont know how i can be like that. is there anything i can do. thankyou

The problem is you're thinking of girls as "strange foreign creatures" that you have to do something to conquer. This other guy thinks of girls as "people to hang out with" and hangs out with tons of them. To him, they are normal. To you they are strange, you treat them as strange, they therefore react to your behavior and on it goes.

The key to talking to ANY person is flirting - the casual chatting, talking, friendly smiles and such that get all relationships going. I have tons of advice on flirting here -

but really, every person is a human being. That INCLUDES GIRLS. So don't treat them as outer space beings. Just treat them as people. Be nice to them, smile at them, say hi when you pass them. Don't be nervous - they're not killer attack zombies! Just be nice. They'll be nice back, and soon you'll be talking and spending time with them.
