RomanceClass.com Advice
First, 15 to 17 isn't really a big age gap. Seniors date freshmen all the time. So I wouldn't worry too much about that.

It definitely sounds like she likes to spend time with you. And remember that all great dates are between two good friends who love talking with each other and spending time together. So you're already at the point that you're having fun talking. A ton of people write this site saying "we don't know what to talk about" so you're way ahead of the game!!

OK, so now that you already talk and enjoy that, move the *friendship* along. If you talk about a fun movie, ask her to go - as a friend. It means there's no pressure about "what to do" and so on. And once you get into the "habit" of going places together, then when you start to do things like share your jacket when it's cold or sit side by side and hugging hello and goodbye, those will all be "normal" things. And soon enough, you'll be really dating without any of the stress normally involved in that transition :)
