A Love Quote
I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

Does he like me or hate me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
So i am in my 2nd year of secondary school (combination of middle and high school) and i like a guy in my class. He and i have known each other since we were 7 and we've always been friendly. Now, i think he has heard that I might like him though i've never confirmed it and whenever i am talking to one of our mutual friends who sits near him or on facebook he is very rude to me. He seems to go out of his way to make my life a misery and even though I may still have feelings for him I would never act on them because of his rudeness. I know i can have a sharp tongue and we've always teased each other but because of how he is acting i've started avoiding his desk and sticking to my side of the room. He has always complained about me going over to his desk but now he is doing the same to me. He is now going out with one of my best friends so we.ve got to be more civil to eachother but he seems to HATE me!!! I was thinking of confronting hm about it but i.m not sure. WHAT SHOULD I DO???

RomanceClass.com Advice
Sure, you can certainly confront him. Wait until you are feeling calm, though. It won't go well for you to get his back up with accusations.

He may or may not be mature enough to handle this kind of discussion honestly. If he can, then great - see if you can work out a way to be friends again. If he can't have a civil conversation about this, then shrug and move on. You tried to be the better person and he wasn't up to your level.

After having a talk, if he is still rude to you, then yes, you need to shut him out of your head. Even if he is dating someone you are friends with, you don't have to engage with him or try to make him your friend. Go about your business and wait for him to grow up. Hopefully, he will. If not, you've lost nothing in the end - you don't need that kind of energy in your life.
