Seeing an Old Crush

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Last year I met a boy and we became really close. However, I haven't seen him in ages. I really liked him and I'm 99% sure he liked me because he always
sat really close to me and kept touching my arm and trying to make me smile.

But we were too shy to say anything.

I'm going to meet up with him again soon and I was thinking about asking him out.

Should I? Or would that be awkward? Please help!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
If you're just hooking up after a long absence I wouldn't dive into asking him out. You want to lure him in first. You want to make sure you catch him fully before asking a question that he might say no to. You want to make sure the answer will be YES.

So instead of focusing on asking him out, focus on making a great first impression and on recapturing his interest. Read up on flirting. Practice your flirting skills. Get good sleep and be as happy and friendly as you can be. You want to show him you're a person he wants to spend time with.

Then make your aim to get his Facebook or IM or other contact info. That is your main goal here. That way you can keep flirting and talking after that initial contact. As you rebuild your connection, you'll know when it's right to arrange that first date.

Good luck!
