I'm Shy - She's Shy

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I like this girl and two of my friends know and they bought us together. On a Friday after school, they say that I had something to tell her and I was shy. I guess she is too. I said I would talk to her on Monday.

When I did I said I wanted to go to the movies with her. She said yeah we will just hang out. She said we will hang with friends. but I'm grounded this week so next week, so I said that's fine.

After that she doesn't talk to me until like a good 2 weeks now. we are barely at the Hi whats up stage. I also heard she doesn't like me and I heard she does. I don't know which to believe.
