What is Awkward???

I am a 14 year old guy, who is by far one of the most socially awkward people you will ever meet. I am not that bad looking, and several girls have liked me, but whenever I actually get the courage to ask out someone, i goes horribly wrong. I am unable to sense the amount of awkwardness in the atmosphere, and I am just plain nervous. I am a great listener, but the talkative girls have no idea I exist or jut aren't my type. How can I become less awkward?

You present yourself as a pretty smart guy, and admit you are attractive. Why do you think you choke when asking a girl out? Are you thinking, "well I'll ask her out but she'll probably say no because I'm a real loser"? Instead start out first by saying to yourself,"I'm a really great guy, good looking, good listener and smart." Then ask the girl out and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the response. Self confidence is the key to success.
