Okay, resubmitting........

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Sorry my last question was unclear. See, my girlfriend/ex is 15 and I'm 17 years old. My dad and others have a problem with that and I don't really see what's hurting them. I mean, I understand if I had sex with her that that would cause alot of problems but we never even got close to that point. All that I know is I love her, and I want to continue staying with her but it seems like he won't be happy until I do. And also, I mentioned in the other question that when I told her about all this, she wasn't as hurt as I was or didnt even respond the way she usually would respond with news like (meaning she would usually ball her eyes out) and that conserned me alot. Now again, what do you think about all of this, how should I deal with it and what should I do?

ps: I know all the rules on illegal dating but our ages aren't too far apart.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I agree with you. If you haven't done so already, explain to your dad that you are not engaging in sex and it won't be long until she is 16 anyway. At least make sure the channels of communication are open with you. Keep in mind, no matter how wrong he may be, he has your best interests in his heart.

As far as you girl friend. I have no idea why she is taking this so calmly... why not ask her. Perhaps she has sensed this coming and has prepared herself for it already. Again, open communication is the best way to resolve this question.

Thanks for resubmitting! George
