I like this girl but she has a boyfriend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There is a girl that I have known since 8th grade. I liked her since then but never told her. Then in 9th grade, out of nowhere she started dating some other guy. I lost her before I could do anything about it. They have been dating for two years now and I have been waiting but I can't wait no longer. Me and her have been really good friends for four years. we support each other, we sometimes flirt, and we have a lot of fun together. The problem is that I'm also friends with her boyfriend, so I don't want to be an a-hole. but I also like her a lot. I can't hold relationships of my own because she is always on my head. I know it is not just a silly crush because its been two years and I can't forget her and move on. If I could I would get her out of my head and move on but I can't. For some reason I feel like she is the one because I have not met anyone like her. I don't want to break them up and I know I should wait, but its been too long now. I want to let her know how I feel about her but I don't want to mess up our friendship. I can't see her love someone else, I can't take it anymore after these two years. But I don't want to break them up and turn her against me. Should I tell her how I feel? What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are right that you wouldn't want to break them up or turn her against you.

A reasonable hope is to stay friends and see what happens. This is basically what you are doing now. Sorry, but that is the sensible thing to do.

Meanwhile, always keep an eye out for a girlfriend for yourself.

Good luck! George
