It's been a long time but I want her back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
It has been 8 months since the break up, I still think about her and believe that I belong with her. I recently found out she has a new boyfriend and it looks from pictures she is happy, but that's in pictures, she looks happy in pics with me. She broke up with me because I got mad and walked away like I had learned to do when i get mad. I don't know what happened to us but I want to get her back and would do anything for her and would give up anything to be with her. Do you have any ideas at all of what can be done. i have two friends that tell me different things. One (known for 3 years) says to move on, forget about her. I don't think this is possible if its been this long and I am still thinking about her. The other (known for 7 years) says to call her and see what happens. what should I do??
