I NEED her back!!!

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Well, me and her went out for six or seven months and we had our moments, but for the most part it was a very happy relationship.

Well, during one of our moments, instead of breaking up with her, I made the dumbest decision to tell her friend that I had a crush on her, instead. She found out obviously, and the crap hit the fan. I immediately regretted what I had done and apologized like 100 times. We didn't really talk for a week or so, but we have still remained friends and even hang out four or five times a week now.

When I ask her about us, she says that she has lost feelings for me, but wants to be friends still and I told her that I loved her. I explained to her that I care for her very much, but that it's just too hard on me, being "just friends". She said that she can't just change her feelings but wants to be friends still and that she hasen't ruled anything out, yet... She said that nothing can happen again if we aren't friends.

So, how do I get her back?! Should I try to minimalize communication with her, hoping that she'll have time to miss me, hopefully, even though she said that nothing can happen if we aren't friends?! Or do I suck it up, even though it kills me to just be her friend and maybe go about it that way?...

RomanceClass.com Advice
Since you love her, you are very lucky she is willing to be such a close friend. The odds are that you will resume your former relationship after a while.

My advice is to continue your close friendship and not try to play games with her. Games often backfire because the other person can detect that you are insincere.

Good luck! George
