teasing or flirting?

Well I have this friend at church I really like and I’m not sure if he likes me too. We seem too talk a lot but ever since I wrote him a note asking if he liked me(which he never answered) he seemed nervous and jumpy around me, but gradually things started to return to normal. I’m pretty sure he might like me cause one night at church it was raining really hard and we both got soaked running to the other building we were both freezing he went and got his dad's (which is the pastor) jacket. When i said i was cold he offered his jacket to me i thought that was sweet but I declined. And then it seems as if his is always turning around to look at me but i can't tell exactly. yesterday we were all at a party at our youth pastors house and he was hanging out with my cousin and i eventually started to hang out with him an when I did he as constantly teasing me and joking with in a nice way i guess not calling me ugly or anything like that but he would always tease me about weird little stuff but even my cousin said he was laying it on pretty thick. then he said that he was talking to his best friend (which is a girl) that is NOT his girlfriend he made sure to make it clear that he didn't like her and he DIDN"T have a gf, he said he was just talking to her about the crazy funny things i do so i gave him my email address today.
Today I always hold the door and greet people at church he seemed to ignore me at first actually he didn’t say a word to me the whole entire time I was around him. He came and stood there with his father who was right by me, which he never does, but didn’t say a word. After church I was off by myself and he seemed to be making his way over to me but was cut off by the other guys every chance he got. But the one chance he did get to stand by me he just came and stood behind me and before I could even turn all the way around he was gone. Usually everyone jokes with us about being bf and gf but we aren’t so we both usually say no and he says just leave it alone, and today one of his friends said theirs your girlfriend and pointed to me and he said yeah ok and then he seemed to maybe blush a little bit and grab the boy who said that (which happened to be one of his best friends) around the neck as if to say you weren’t suppose to say that look. Does he like me? I’m not sure and I’m really confused what should I do and if he does like me how should I tell him because I’m really afraid to tell guys I like them because I’m afraid they’ll think I’m too ugly or something what do you think I should do?

If he doesn't email you, ask him his email and write to him. Also, you might be able to chat or text him.
Continue to make conversation with him and also move yourself closer to him so he doesn't have to go so far to talk with you.
