ok im a 16 year old girl...and i few days ago my bf of 3 years on and off started talking to be about how he wasnt happy...but he said that he wasnt saying he wasnt happy with me...but the thing that botherd me was that he told me be for this happen he loved me and he was in love with me and all that stuff...but he couldnt see us together in a few years..... and now hes sayin he just want to be really good friends with me ...and i want to know if you think i might just be afaid of being in a long relationship and thats why he broke up with me in the first place...or if he really wants to just be friend?

He is afraid of a long term relationship and he also wants to be friends with you.

If you love him, then agree to be friends and hope that you two will grow together again.

It is even possible that he doesn't understand his feelings himself. You would be doing him a favor by helping him.
