Should I continue

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi I'm 20 years old and I have had a crush on my best friend for a very long time. We get along together great and we have become really close. I always had the feeling that she liked me because of all the signs and how we got along. But then I had to move to another city about 500 miles away. We were still in communication and still close. She even sent me a picture of her and said in the back of the picture, "to have me there whenever you want." Then I learned that she has a boyfriend. So should I continue to try to make her my girlfriend or do you think it is completely over and give up? Even when she still has a boyfriend I still get the feeling that she is attracted to me when I come and visit. Please help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
If you continue to live 500 miles apart, my advice is to end it with her.
That distance just isn't going to work out in the long run.

Since she means a lot to you, you should consider moving back where she is and then trying to make things up with her. You would just be a friend so that you don't tempt her to cheat on her boyfriend. If she asks why you returned tell her the truth--you wanted to be near her.

Good luck! George
