to flirt or not to flirt this is the question.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
i met this guy a few months ago. we volunteer at the same place . animal shelter. usually he's quiet. he used to be one of my best friends boyfriends . at first i felt bad that i liked him but according to my gf its ok. she said he was one of the best bf's ever, they broke up on good terms. she regarded him as boring lol. her current bf is waaaay wilder. anyway, sometimes he flirts with me. i have his e-mail address . when i asked him for it he smiled to the corner of his mouth(not sure if its good) . i message him first but soo far he hasnt messgaed me yet. should i tell him i want him to make the first move or will i seem too pushy? the last time i saw him he was with his friend and he raised his hand and smiled at me awkwardly, not that he would use a big smile to hail me before (neither did i) . according to myfriends who also work at the shelter say he looks at me sometimes. (oh- by the way he's asian and speaks 2 different lang.) so i asked him to tell me something , first he agreed but then said he was too embrassed(he thinks he sounds stupid) to speak in front of me. ive been told that he spoke of me before to one of his other friends who i know but not well . anyway what does it mean should i continue flirting with him or drop the ball? (not sure if it matters but he's about 2 yrs younger than me)

RomanceClass.com Advice
He's younger and feels awkward too.

You will have to keep the ball rolling for a while. He is too shy. Ask him to hang out or go to a movie with you

Some relationships take more work than others. You are going to have to work on this one.

Good luck! George
