Will He Come Back?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am a very insecure person. Although I get told that I'm beautiful...I just don't see it. I grew up in a home where all I knew was critisism and judgement and when I got out into the world, I expected everyone else to be the same way towards me. Me and my ex just broke up. He left me b/c he couldn't take all the questions and jealousy and me freaking out everytime a girl that is a friend calls him. I told him last night that I am going to get help so I can get over this and he said it was too late and that we're past "sorry". He doesn't have faith that I am going to change. I want to be with him. He's afraid to show love or talk about his feelings because he thinks that once he says something like that, everything is going to go wrong like his past. He told me that he cares about me and he "likes" me alot. We had fun together and loved spending time together, and now, he says he just doesn't care. He can't handle being in a relationship. My friends keep telling me that within two weeks he'll realize that he misses me and wants me back, but the way he's avoiding me when I did nothing wrong, I'm not so sure. I am so confused. Is he pushing me away so I will get help and then come back when he sees that everything has changed or is he really wanting to be alone? Help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are right, you need to get some counseling.

Your ex may come back once he sees that you have changed.

Sounds like jealousy has claimed another victim.

Sorry.

Good luck! George
