i need her to fall out of love with me

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
my girl and i got in trouble and my parents won't let me see her anymore. i broke it off because i knew it wouldn't work in the future and she was REALLY HURT. like she was depressed and she slit her wrists and had to go to the emergency room. so i told her there was a chance so she wouldn't kill herself or something over it. wich was a very bad idea. so i can't hurt her again so i need a way for her to fall out of love. right now all we are doing is txting and talking on AIM. so its basically a long distance relationship. i have about 2 and a half years to get her to fall out of love with me and i really need her to. so please give advice. or if there are any alternatives that won't hurt her please tell.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You shouldn't be trying to deal with a suicidal girlfriend... especially not alone, if that's what is happening.

Find out if she is seeing a counselor and encourage her to listen hard and take the counselor's advice.

Ask your parents to contact her parents and see if they can figure something out. Main thing is not to try to go this alone. Very important! You have no training in dealing with suicidal people. Ask your parents to find out from her parents what is the best way to handle this. You shouldn't be trying to figure it out. Let the grown ups figure it out since they caused it.

And, especially watch out for yourself... you don't want to get depressed yourself.

Your parents should also verify that she is getting counseling.

Good luck! George
