Am I just imagining it or my gut feelings are for real?

There's this guy from my class who started off sms-ing me on the phone and then we proceeded to chatting online every night but never on the phone. Once we went out clubbing and he actually kissed me on my forehead out of the blue. I brushed it off as that we were pretty high on alcohol. We went out once on a date and he was all quiet, not like his usual self. When in class, he'll give me cheeky winks when I walk past him and I would tease him back. The things we talk about sounds like we're flirting with each other. Problem is we're both attached to someone else. Is he being just plain cheeky or that he's into me?
