I have this friend, who is also my neighbor, and we had a relationship together about two years ago. We are both in high school, except she attends boarding school in another city and visits home about once a month. We have grown apart, but I still have strong feelings for her. If we communicate by text or phone, I'm always the one to start it. I want to become close to her again. What should I do?

Continue to text and phone her. This will let her know that you like her.
Then when she comes home, ask her out to a movie...better yet ask her now for the next time she is home.
A long distance relationship is hard to deal with, so don't expect things to go very smoothly. Just keep plugging away at it and see what develops.
