How can i show him i love him

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend and i have been off and on for a little over a year. This past week we had been fighting constantly and i was to the point i thought he was done with us. But this weekend was my birthday and it was amazing. My parents have a problem with him because they dont know him and feels that i am the only one in love. But him and i have discussed to try to fix it. Well for my birthday he bought me a promise ring. He works out of town so i see him for 1-2 days every two weeks but it wasnt always that way. It is hard for me to be completely honest with him because i feel like im going to hurt him or cause hardships in our relationship and i just want him to be happy and know that i care. Right now he is mad at me because i was honest with him about this guy flirting with me and he feels as though i wanted this guy which i dont in any way. I just thought of him as a friend at work. How can i show him that i really love him and that i want to spend my life with him?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Flirting is timeless. We do it at 13 and 73. It is part of human behavior.

It doesn't mean you want the person, just that you like to flirt, like everyone.

Explain this to your boyfriend and hopefully he will understand.

You show him you love him by being honest, compassionate, understanding and affectionate.

Good luck! George
