okay, my ex bf and I have tried our relationship 4 times over the past 2 1/2 years. No matter how bad the break up was or who else we date, we can't seem to completely get over each other. We hadn't really spoken much in the past few months and he started dating another girl in October. We finally talked about 3 weeks ago and were on the phone for 2 1/2 hours because he didn't want to hang up. Any way, he and his gf broke up about a week ago and he and I hung out a few days later. I found out then that he hadn't spoken to me because his gf at the time told him he couldn't even look at me, let alone talk to me. He also told me that he had never loved her the way that he used to love me, but he had lied to her and told her that he loved her more than he had loved me. Any way, we've been talking on the phone just about every day since then and when we were together, we hugged and kissed. We also talked about the girl he just broke up with and he admitted that he does have feelings for her but he does not think he wants to get back together with her. Do you think he wants to be with me again? He asked me what I think would happen if we got back together and I didn't really know what to say except that we would probably mess it up again. I do still have strong feelings for him, though.

Lots of couple break up and get back together several times. The important thing is to figure out what is causing the problem, talking it out, and figuring a compromise.
