Touching, Kissing, and more....

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
There's this guy that I've known for 3 years and we're both really shy. We've always been kind-of close but this year after we both were in the same club we became closer friends. Soon he was always working with me, becoming more physical and always hanging out with me after school. So finally he asked me to the movies (after he finished the book) I said yes and everything was fine. We eat lunch together and we talk, but I sometimes wish we would do more, like hold hands or wrap his arm around me. We were thinking about going out this weekend since it’s the start of break. How do I break the touch barrier?
Another thing, if our relationship gets more serious how do we kiss? I know I want to now but I know its to soon but at school it'll be really hard since his mom works there. How do I make our relationship less awkward since his mom can see everything we do?
So in total I guess I want to know.
How to break the touch barrier?
How do I kiss him or do anything somewhat physical with him at school?
How do I make him know that I want him to kiss him?
How do I know if he wants to hold my hand or kiss me? Thanks for your help,

You should take the initiative in touching.

Give him hugs whenever you meet. This is normal behavior. Same with holding hands. Tell him you want kisses.

Both of you are shy... one of you has to break on through and be brave. You have to be that person. Trust me, he wants to be just as physical as you do. He is just afraid that you don't want to.

As far as his mother... just do what you want to do and if she has a problem with it, she will speak up. Otherwise don't worry about it.
