I can't decide if I trust my girlfriend because she used to hang out with this guy who is 5 years older than her (she is 18) and when I went out of town she went to hang out with him and didn't tell me and I found a text message from her saying he had fun with her. She told me that she went with him to tell him that she had a boyfriend and that he couldn't tell her he loved her anymore, but I don't know if I believe her. We've been dating for about 1 month after that and it still keeps eating away at me. What should I do?

Accept her answer as honest and trust her and forget about it.

Worrying over it is going to only cause trouble for both of you. Tell her you have thought about it enough and decided that you trust her.

You will feel better for having brought this into the open and having that good feeling that a hurt has been healed.
