Testing the waters

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I wrote here once before in a question titled "uncharted territory". I managed to ask a question different from the one I intended and appreciated the quick reply. Is there any way of knowing that my friend wants to hold hands? Is there a way of testing the waters or working up to holding hands? We already basically walk with shoulders touching and she occasionally pushes my shoulder among other small things so physical contact isn't uncommon. But I have misread women in the past. Thanks again.

Here is something else to try before holding her hands.

Tell her you need a hug and put your arms out. Almost all girls who are at all friendly will at least consider giving you a hug.

You should also take her out to dinner before hand holding.

Good luck! George
