why wont he tell me?

this is pretty long sorry.

So there is this guy at my school and ive liked him for two years now. I met him in my chem class he would always pick on me in a jokingly way. Some how i ended up liking him. Well the next year i had a bunch of classes with him and boy am i enjoying every moment of it but everyone is picking on us more him than me saying that he likes me. even my friend says he does and he has never been wrong. He gets defensive when they accuse him makes jokes to cover it up. Our teacher even picks on him. Hes had a few slips. Hes stubborn i dont know if hell admit it. So should i just do it? or is it now elementery love as my friend likes to call it. Thanks.
