What to do with a girl...

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I've hung out with this one girl a couple times out at the bar, and we've made out a couple times. Well I got her to come out with me and my friends and we had a good time out together, and I told her I liked her and wanted to get to know her outside the bar.

So we agreed to a date, and most of our communication was done thru text messages. She would text me out of the blue just to have random conversation, and it was good clean fun. Well a day before our date she text me and says she has to cancel, no explanation or anything. I go ok, do you want to reschedule, she goes "ill let you know" and that was it. After that day when I try to text her I never get anything back.

Should I keep trying to text her or act like I don't care? I thought we really clicked and had fun together and I wanted to just hang out and get to know her. Do I tell her this or will that come off as to needy and pathetic sounding? I also think she may be going thru somethings with her ex, but he lives over 30 hours away. I want to know if I should confront the situation or let it play out over time.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Let it play out over time.

You and she have a good connection and that won't go away. Stop trying to text her for a few weeks then casually ask her how she is doing. As you said, she may be going through something with her ex. Maybe that will pass by after a few weeks.

Good luck! George
